These sprites rock!  I strongly suggest and encourage you to finish out the human theme.  If you get bored and want to make a 'viking' theme later that would be awesome.  I am thinking that eventually Toady will make it possible to have different themes of similar races so the extra sets of sprites will never go to waste.

Great work!  hope you can keep up the pace.  Going like a mad man so far!!!

Couldn't you just make a HUMAN2 Or EVIL_HUMAN civ as well, and use both?

Sorry, been distracted the past day and a bit trying to figure out what I'm giong to do... But good news is that I finally got off my arse and snagged a copy of CS4! So i can use my tablet again!... But it HAS been like a year since I tried to actually draw something in photoshop... so I made my dwarf dungeon master! WHEEE!

And better news is that I've figured out what I'm going to do.

Stage 1: Finish my humans.
Stage 2: Do some "regular" humans.
Stage 3: ???
Stage 4: Profit!

Thanks for all the comments again. The imput helped me decide which way to go :P

Yes, I noticed that before; the skeleton hammedwarf is missing a weapon. Perhaps he should be holding a femur?

Hey Deon, I just looked at the link in your sig for the complete DF mod. and saw this...

1) Ethnically diverse humans.

They do not have desert biome humans, maybe these could be a starting point for those? but it would be mean of us to request he do something similar to his DFG. (grrr no emote representing innocence of intent  ;D)

Oh, I just haven't time to draw some desert people so that's why they are not in the release. I already have items and entity settings for them, I just don't want to add uncompleted thing (no graphics) to the mod. If Beefmo could draw desert people it'd be great. It even could encourage me to replace all the corresponding graphic tiles in my mod with his sprites.

P.S. I like how we have more users with animated sprites for avatar. Much better than penguins :).
