Still messing around with the military...

Wrestler -> Swordsman -> Axeman
Elites -> ->

To Raz: It`s not really meant to be a pot helm.. more an interpretation.... think of that pot helm.. slightly squished down, with a spike on the top and cloth draping around the rim (Man i wish i didnt lose mt photoshop when i got mah new computer ><)

To Vattic: I actually bookmarked that first link you posted :P to make sure i wouldnt lose it. Also found some awesome concept art for guild wars (I think it was) that helped me think.

To Kivish: Im `trying` to come up with something that hasn`t been done to death before, so I`m trying to give it a semi-persian look to them, which I think fits the DF humans, even though looking through the entity file, face masks are rare. If youve played the new NWN2 storms of zehir, thats the kind of feel im getting about the DF humans... and yeah, I`ll have to make sure the job sprites match too... and after I spent so long getting my lumberjack shirt to work! :P  But I mean.. peasants look like peasants pretty much anywhere in the world right?

To Ductape: Were putting the band back together!

If people would prefer me to go the standard `knights of ye olde roundeth table` look speak up before i get too far into this! :P

these are a work of beauty, with the human peasants, maybe ad a few red sashes or turbins? that way you tie them in a cultural similarity with the military, and go more extravagant as you go up in class.

A question for the 'savy ones....

Once you get ahold of Adamantine Armor, your adventurer's colour changes, is it possible to reflect this with Beefmo's wonderful dwarves?

I've always used the standard ASCII, but after seing your "Champion" model, I'm more or less in love....

If you got the spare time Beefmo, would it be possible to ask for a Adamantine wearing Hammerlord as an avatar? *shy*

Say what?

Are you saying you want the color to change when you get adamantine armor, or are you saying it does change (and I somehow never noticed)?

It does change ;)

Think it changes depending on the colour of your chest-armor.

Not a very productive day so far..... Just a few more military humans:

Maceman -> Hammerman -> Spearman -> Halbert(eer?) -> Royal guard
Elites -> -> -> ->

To IronValley: If what your saying is right, I`m assuming the adventurer is just recoloured like a default sprite according to the armour you have on? So either i can disable it (I think) so you wont change colour and will look normal... or I could go for a full armour on adventurers... maybe just champion skilled ones.... so the armour would change colour without you ending up with a blue skinned dwarf?... although then your weapon would also be the shade of whatever colour your armour is and it MIGHT not look so great... hrrmmmmmm...

Just one of those awesome little details I've missed (in this case because I use graphical tiles).

You should do Doctor Manhatten for the human Crossbow guy.

God knows they're exactly like him.

Some of the higher 'level' military guys look very power-ranger-y...

That's a great military.  I love the ones that look like they have a sash.  All simply awesome.

My suggestion for commoners is to use as little red as possible, though, that way the military really stands out.  Perhaps the commoners wear more whites, blues, oranges and yellows?

I loved the bald woodcutter though.  Hmmm...

I can't wait for all these to be done.  You rock!
