Ah ok then I will! But im sure people will love your humans, the idea of horrifying elves is a good one as they are hated so much in dwarf fortress!
Seriously your graphics are the best and really suit DF!

As for the weapons make some mock ups of the different types for say the sword or spear and see which is most popular?

Haha wicked!

More helmets!

More heavy helms at the top, bottom row are more arabic/eastern in their nature.

note: any strange pixels are due to the fact I resized them to 200% from 100% and might have done it slightly wrong hehe.

Human master lasher should have a fedora and no armor.

Also, can I use that fallout dwarf as an avatar?

I think it would be neat if elves had oversized arms, clearly moving around in a semi-upright manner, like a gorilla.  Of course, not sure how to represent this in pixel art, but this thread has already shown me that what I previously didn't think possible is actually AWESOME.

Loving the Orcs, I'll probably make mine orange though as this is how I picture non-Tolkien, non-Warhammer Orcs.

ive always assumed hobgoblins to be orange, with Orcs being brown/black goblins being green, and trolls being stone.

or freaky-deaky plant fellas.

(ignore any possible racist undertones there, im sure ONE of you will find something derogatory there, it is unintended)

love, jakkarra

Vattic, those orcs are cool!  I wish there were more interesting interpretations of them like that.  I love their shovel-shaped jaws.

Beefmo, I love your troll and troll skeleton.  The goblin adventurer seems a little off in the arm?  Is that a skull on his shoulder or some kind of sleeve or what?  I'm not really sure.  Those humans absolutely perfect.  I love love love love LOVE the bald woodcutter.  My fav helm is the wide-brimmed helm, the one that reminds me of the old british WWI helmets.

Anyways, I just wanted to voice my support again.  Starting to sound like a broken record, though!

To LumenPlacidum: I don`t really want to make the elves stray too far from everyones image, I just want them to look more feral slash face eating, and if I give them the arms like that im afraid they`ll end up looking more like trogladites :P

To Madrain: Totally agree with the lopsided goblin, I was trying to get away with reusing the goblin base but I`ll have to come up with a new stance.. and yeah its meant to be a skull shoulderpad :P

To Vattic: Those orcs rock! so much so that i made a slight remodel and some colour variation!

So here they are along with some more idea`s for human soldiers!

(God... i was meant to be working on humans not orcs! Damn you and your amazing image linkage! :P)

I'm sorry, but I really don't like those kettle helmets; it doesn't look anywhere near it:

The rest is great though. :)

Yeah, underbite much?

Nice, no need for me to mess with the colours myself then.

Paul Bonner is an amazing artist, he worked for games workshop and a number of other fantasy themed companies, most know him best for his inked 40k Orcs. His site has a small selection of his artwork up, I only mention it because you might find some more inspiration in there.

This has been great so far. I'm still having trouble getting used to the different professions, but I'll learn soon. Now my military looks bad-ass.  :D

The new humans look fantastic!! The right one has a more oriental feel whilst the left seems more arabic/eastern to me. Orcs are nice the one on the right is my favourite.

Also if you go with a different theme for the humans (ie not medieval) will the human workers look different to reflect this??
