Goblin job sprites almost done! ><

Hunter -> Fishergob -> Fishery worker -> Weaver/Clothier ->Dyer
Animal trainer/carer -> Trapper -> Gem cutter/setter -> Blacksmithing jobs ->Herbalist?
Stone crafter -> Wood crafter -> Bone carver -> Leatherworker -> Tanner

Which leads me to a question.... Do goblin nobles ever show up in adventure or fortress mode playing as gobbo's?

And yes... Dwarven pump operator would fit WAY better.. but you'd have the side effect of your army in training being Mario... but then again.. when was an army of Mario bad?

And distraction brings you the Goblin Axe...player...

(Edit: For great updates!)

You just made me wish that DF had idle animations.

Rock on little goober!

.... aaaannndddd.... Job sprites finished! (i think)

Brewer -> Woodburner/Furnace operator -> Lye maker -> Mechanic -> Architect -> Trader!

But the question still remains.... Do goblins get nobles in any form? I know ill have to take care of the Priest/High Priest since they mostly take care of goblin leaders... but say.. if you made goblins your default fortress race, would they get nobles? Or are they hardcoded to just dwarfs?

And thanks for the comments all! .... almost time for a new race >< .... But goblins are just too cool....

OH! and holler out if you see any i missed :P

Ooh, I do believe I'm gonna be replacing Sphr's stuff now.

*in his sets he's got placeholders for nobility so I think they are present in adventure.
And I haven't sat through enough sieges to see a goblin king but you'd need that one at least.

If you make a full vanilla set would you be interested in doing one of the popular mods (Legendary Lands, Dangerous Wilds, etc.)?

Really great job!

Sad that DF has quite unforgiving minimal number of rendered tiles. Sometimes I would sacrifice resolution for nice look. And using your tileset on 200% or 300% ... hm ...

I'm not sure what nobles goblins get currently, but you might want to hold off on nobles in general -- the next version will likely have some significant changes to how nobles are assigned to ALL civs.  Check "Entity Positions" in the List of Remaining Items for more details.

Have you done drunks yet?

Touche.. forgot the drunk.. so here he is! Thanks for the reminder, and i think ill do some stand in nobles for now since only god (Toady) knows when the next version will be out :P

To Shoku: I don't want to get ahead of myself just yet.. I've still got another 4 vanilla races to churn out first, but after that id be happy to mess around with any custom races people want done. (Wont lie, i kinda really want to do the orcs now :P)

To DennyTom: I know right.. Tiny resolution is even worse on my comp atm since I'm using my big screen telly for my moniter.. and it technically doesn't even use pixels! It's pretty much comprised of a screen full of <<<<<<<<<<< for pixels.. makes mine look like arse at 100% zoom ><

Prisoners should hang upside-down from chains.

I love the diversity of the goblins.  I might end up using these if you finish the main races and release them all to the public.  My only complaint is that (what I assume are) the goblin's fangs look like white mustaches to me, so I'm seeing a bunch of old man gobbo's with fancy waxed lipwarmers.

Great work!

Skeletal and zombies done since apparently I couldn't sleep ><! Thanks for that catch.

Tomorrow ill finish up prisoners and some stand in nobles and get started on the next race..... Question is though... which...

And yeah, they're meant to be little protruding teeth >< anyone else getting the mustache look?

(Edit: And the drunk got him self on his feet! Apparently he sobered up :P)

These are great; I'm really impressed with how expressive you've made them all. That takes some serious skill. :)
