Suddenly I find myself very glad tighter turn deadlines weren't instituted. :-[ Sorry for being late-ish, going to go crash now but will put up my turn tomorrow.

Back from my college orientation. Brainmeats hurt, turn should be up in the near future.

I'm not yet sure if I want to stop growth, but is there a way to keep a city right at 20,000 people without a morale penalty? I'd really like to keep my +10% labor bonus.

You could research blood sports or something, I suppose...

But if blood sports become important, how will I use them? It goes against zefie ethos. And zefies don't actually bleed  :-[

It makes me sad when everybody else takes significantly longer then I do to take a turn. I'm impulsive by nature, and it feels like everybody else is carefully planning their action out.

Stop planning and act randomly already!

Blood sports any soylent goblin are great ideas, and no, the Zefies don't need morale help. Just no.

Srsly.  Colosseum, it's the way forward.  Morale bonus for everyone -not- under the sword.

Drowning in 15 leather? I have 43 wool. I've got entire caverns dedicated to storing it all! Beware: If your traders find the goblins, they'll likely be given as much wool as they can carry. It's nearly worthless to them.

Also, it makes me sad that none of the other players seem to care about this game anymore.

Holy crap, 43 wool? that would crash the market!

I think the reason people are not as dedicated is because we're all so isolated. If we knew where everyone else was, there would be alot more action

Yeek, sorry. Maybe tighter turn deadlines wouldn't be such a bad thing after all. The generous time window lends itself easily to procrastination, especially when posting early doesn't necessarily make the turn go any faster when the game progresses at the speed of the slowest player. I understand stuff comes up IRL (as it has for me this past week or so--although admittedly I could've made time to write up my post if I really needed to), but perhaps this could be better handled on a different basis (e.g. "post if you're going to be late" and/or a grace period for one late turn but not for subsequent ones) rather than holding up the game a week every time someone's late.

(Incidentally, I dunno about you guys but I'm saving all my wool in the hopes of building an army of 50' tall wool golems.)
