Doesn't it take two labor? Or does the clothier's workshop let you get 2 clothing out of 1 labor?

Also, one last (hah hah, yeah right) question: all terrain improvements are mutually exclusive with any other improvements unless otherwise noted (like the waterwheel), right?

The latter, and correct.

My leaders:

Governor: Crunchil Mustrun: Also known as "the peacemaker" this once light, but now blue-wearer was responsible for pulling together the lights and the darks enough to make exploring the outside world possible. His ability to make everyone around him stop what they are doing and pay attention to him is legendary.

Sage: Kreglin Mustrun: The formerly dark-wearing bondbrother of Crunchil, he is well known for being slow, deliberate and methodical in is investigations. It is not a good idea to get him angry as he is one of the few remaining people who knows even a little magic.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

Apparently so, but I think we're still waiting on a revision or two.

Yeah, I'm waiting for NME to revise his plan. Hopefully Pandarsenic will have his RP stuff up by then, but I'm not going to wait for it.

External exploration is simple. You have to have a military unit, and you have to send it off to explore in some direction. It goes off, explores, and reports back.
Searching for special resources is largely automatic. You'll randomly discover them through random events, and sometimes research will reveal them. There may be other ways to find them, if you get creative.

For future reference: how exactly does the "+25% to construction" from the Mechanic's Workshop work? First off, what exactly does "to construction" apply to--building speed? If so, does it strictly refer to constructing buildings or do terrain improvements count? And how would the fractions be counted--if it was +25% building speed, does that mean that a 4 labor building could be built with 3 (25% less labor required) or would 3 labor only count as 3.75 (+25% output per labor)? Would it be computed per-building or in terms of all constructions built during a turn?

Each point of labor put into construction of buildings or of improvements counts as 1.25, and it's computed across all constructions in a turn.
Maybe I should make it +1/3rd.
