Ah, okay.
Well, like I said, haven't read yours yet.

I'll read it when I finish my essay.... :|

The Zaths are a rather isolationist culture, being concerned more with their own internal struggles then whatever bad things happen to the other races. They aren't scavengers, they will use tech if they find it (after quite a lot of study) but they prefer to make their own stuff.

No. Each side will take any advantage that it can. Getting to share it with the others is the big difficulty.

The world has been heavily altered over the last couple centuries, and even if it hadn't, Age of Glory maps are pretty hard to come by. You don't know much beyond your immediate surroundings.

As for your immediate surroundings, I've been working on those. Here's what I've put together for your production radii. Tell me if you see anything too far from what you were envisioning:
(Grey is mountains, brown is hills, green is forest, yellow is plains, blue is water. Blue lines are rivers, gray lines are walls, brown lines on Lamrinkus are the edge of the mesa.)

Incidentally, if anyone wants to make some decent graphics for this, go right ahead.

Oh, you'd be quite screwed here, too, if you didn't have mushroom farming as a special tech.

I've just about finished with everyone's starting setup. If you see anything that looks wrong, or something's missing, please speak up. RPB, I'd like a bit of input from you in particular; I had a hard time coming up with your second leader and starting building.

Ooff. Tough draw for skills, I didn't mention that the zefies were never good at ranged warfare . . .

Could Jericho have a harbor of some sort (even a fishing harbor) instead of the shrine?  The shrine isn't supposed to be special, just the local flavor of hero-worship.  The harbor on the other hand represents the Jerran focus on the sea.

How do they fight, anyway? I was never too clear on that. (I was thinking about it earlier, and now I can't stop imagining them as a swarm of Kuribo slamming into people and exploding... and feeling vaguely ashamed that I know that.)

Fair enough. I'll change that now.

Zefie regulars charge with full plate (they're like little armored balls) and pikes. They all carry sidearms (swords generally, although axes are found, as per the soldier's preferences, some might use a second spear).

I'd be happy if it was something like -25 to ranged (which isn't there forte) and +10 to defense.
