How about just calling money "money" or something similar (wealth, currency, etc.) instead of gold?

So I have to build a mine on my gold tile, that'll give me 1 gold resource per turn, then I have to spend one more unit to get jewlery, which is worth the usual 10 luxury?

I hope I find metal without having to quarry half of my mountain tiles. I'm bad at guessing.

Question: What benefit does attaching a general to a unit provide?
Question 2: Why do the Zefies have 12 research points?

That would be the sensible thing, I suppose.

You don't have gold, you have silver. But yes. Alternatively, you can have the silver tile produce money instead - 1 money/turn for the raw resource, and more with a mine.

Tactics. It's not much good with only one unit, but a larger force with a general can do things like use stronger units to protect archers, or concentrate attacks on a single unit to take it out faster.

Research points? I don't see any research points there. I have no idea what you're talking about.
(Uh, yeah, I forgot to take that out before I posted.)

Can I build the mine over the quarry?

You'll need Mining first, of course, and it'll replace the quarry, but yes, you can.

Gah, so I need to do research to get the morale bonus that I started to uncover by researching stuff?

I like overgowth. I'm considering trying to keep it a 10, if possible.

You're going to end up slaughtering us all with your insane food potential. Overcrowded might slightly mitigate this, but until then the world will be completely overrun by strange fuzzy creatures.

I want a picture, because I'm tired of imagining featureless black blobs.

Here's hoping the Asykos manage to discover interstellar travel before the planet implodes from the weight of the zefie population.

I had a zefie mod fortress for awhile. The zefie mod didn't change much though. I'll be reworking it for the new DF version. I had a couple of pictures from it. You can find lots of fun stuff on my photobucket, now that I look at it again.

Seriously, the Zefies are getting ridiculous.

I WANT TO RESEARCH ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION SO I CAN MAKE MY POPULATION GROW AS STUPIDLY FAST AS THE ZEFIES BY IMMEDIATELY IMPREGNATING EVERY FEMALE AT AGE 18 AND MAKING THEM ALL INTO BABY FACTORIES.
<_<
>_>

As creepy as it is, it's the only way to keep up with them.
