I dunno, it sounds like more number-crunching to me. Weakens the shrine, too.

Well, I figured that weakening the shrine was a good thing, as it was mentioned before that people wanted inhibitions to large city growth.  But if you didn't want that it could easily be accomplished by setting the output of the shrine to be equal to the size of the city.

I like the current method. Wool gets better once you get closer to 20,000.

Right, clothes start having increased benefits the closer you get to a multiple of 10.  Which makes a lot of sense when you compare it to real life.  I remember when I first moved into a town of a bit more then 10k people.  Clothes didn't seem too important back then.  But over the last decade the town has grown a bit and suddenly clothes are very popular now.  It seems like everyone is wearing them these days.

Just a heads-up, I'm having internet problems, so the next turn may be late. Although it may not be any later than NME's turn.

Mainiac, I've been thinking about your proposal, and, while I don't want to reduce the effectiveness of other modifiers, I do like that it would make finding a single unit source of gold (or whatever) non-useless. I think having it apply only to luxury goods and extra food should work fine.

I'd ask that extra food be worth 3 each, otherwise all of my extra work wouldn't get me another morale point.

Huh? I wouldn't apply it retroactively anyway, but you've got 6 extra food. That'd give you 12 luxury points, and with 11.2 population that's enough for a point of morale. I'd still give a flat +1 for shrines and such.

Wait. Your right. I was looking at my population for next turn.
So shrines and inate abilities are still constants, I'm okay then.

Did I get any exploration done last turn, or do I need to send both the explorer and the general along with the troops?

Oh, I missed that you wanted to send out your spearmen while the warriors trained. Sorry about that.

So we're going to the new morale system then? It gives me a lot of extra labor!

Yeah, we will. I should go make a note of that in the game thread.

So, hey. I know there are probably a dozen people on the waiting list, but if you need someone to stage a hostile takeover of NME's civ, I will happily provide.

I'm going to give him a day or two to respond to the PM I sent him, and then Little has first dibs if he still wants in.
