2.  Consensus and truth are not the same thing.

Or course not. Consensus implies that people get together and decide what is truth and not. Its just when most believe it is truth, then it is.

I'm not saying that if everyone believed the sky is green that it would be so, just that when everyone but you looks at the sky and says "That shit is green" it doesn't matter how right you think you are. The majority says you're wrong, and the're the one with the psychologist and nut houses.

If the universe follows natural laws and there are no inexplicable causes or effects, what would God be and what would they do?

In that case you pretty much are stuck with either "there is no God" or "God is natural law" (or thereabouts), in which case the notion of God is not particularly meaningful.

I'm not saying that if everyone believed the sky is green that it would be so, just that when everyone but you looks at the sky and says "That shit is green" it doesn't matter how right you think you are.

Can't argue with that.

However, the way science is supposed to work, the winner is the one who can summon the largest mountains of evidence to support their claim.  This does not necessarily have to be the majority position at first, but it will eventually become such if evidence keeps appearing.

And with a few notable cases that don't (that I can't recall), most of it turns out that way.

My question then: Is our universe ruled by natural law?

Natural law is whatever seems to fit the universe so far.

By definition, yes.

That doesn't imply there is no god.  Nor does it imply that what we think is true is, in fact, true.  I'm just saying that natural law is, by definition, the set of rules that govern our universe.  That's what the term means.

Has anything unnatural occurred?

Nope, because if it occurred it would be natural.

Define Conformity and Normal.

I predict a pattern (image very loosely related).
