Heh, strange. My eye was chaotic, so maybe that's why I got confused. In any case, you're also partially wrong in that the only class that can't wish for the eye are wizards.

Thinking about it more, I forgot to mention a whole PLETHORA of artifacts that I could wish for. Stormbringer, the only other good chaotic artifact. Then there's magicbane, Vorpal Blade, Mjollnir, snickersnee, and sunsword are all choices, they'll all blast me, but it's nothing I can't handle.

Whenever I'm playing I keep imagining that if I had actual creative skills, I'd draw a comic based on the adventures of my characters. Too bad I don't though.

Nah, the shopkeeper zaped me. The kops arent that big of a problem.

What you should have done was read a cursed scroll of teleportation, or any scroll of teleportation whilst confused. This would make you levelport, which'll put a lot more space between you and the angry shopkeeper and Kops.

See, I should have stopped reading scrolls at random when I figured out I couldent pay for the ones that just burned up when I read the scroll of fire I thought was a scroll of ID

The problem was anyway that the scroll took me too far from the stairs, the store on the other hand was pretty close to the stairs.

I don't steal from shops except with a pet; and I only kill shopkeepers when my pets are able to do so.

The main reason being I often start characters of the same name after the previous one died. If I angered a shopkeeper and left a bone, that would be very dangerous for my new characters.
