gay pride parades

we've all tried to ignore them for the most part in real life, but in LCS, I'd suppose that LCS would be protecting the transvestite hookers from the conservative crime squad.

Advertising gay pride parades could be part of activism, or something on the news and newspapers to change people's Views.

This would be among a number of a kind of special event situations that I would hope/expect to see in future versions of LCS, along with visiting gov't officials, staging riots/protests, occupying factories or government buildings rather than simply raiding them, etc.

Why would we ignore gay pride parades? Are you telling me they're less interesting then your normal parades with a couple of firetrucks and a bunch of VIPs riding in convertibles? Thought the mummer's parade does tend to be a bit more interesting then your standard parade.

Since the LCS wants to advance the cause of equality, I don't think straight people would be denied the right to marry once gays are allowed to.  However I would envision that a L++ society would have no marriage at all.  The institution was originally designed as a way to legally enslave women.  True liberals wouldn't want the law and religion interfering with their relationships.

More of being a majority or percieved majority then simply being "Straight" as it applies to everything. (Women for example are the majority but get minority treatment sometimes)

Though this is more or less because of the way many minorities are trying to do battle with descriminiation then the way liberalism works. Some more then others (For example I don't think the physically Disabled play that game while *Deleted* have it so everyone has to shut up or else they are *Deleted*).
