You and the rest of the group hide behind a tree, and watch for any movement. 15 minutes pass and nothing happens. Your pretty sure the engraving is an inanimate object.

The engraving only continues to point to its right. Almost as if it were telling you that there is something to the right!

If Monk gave me his consent to let someone play him(and thats a good idea, Ill ask in the future) I would. But I rather not risk it if Im not sure. He will be back pretty soon anyway.
