The city graveyard

Limul Thak looked across at Bromrek as they descended into the crypt. He was glad of the company. Upon following Bromrek, he had discovered that Bromrek was following Tamunshin, who seemed to have some sort of telepathic bond with a malevolent spirit. This was troubling. Wait…
They quickly flattened themselves against the wall as Tamunshin stumbled past. He looked half dead, but happy.
“He's not under the influence anymore lad! I reckon he was exorcising it,” came the axe’s voice in Bromrek’s mind. Navi was telling Limul the same thing, though he couldn’t hear it. He sighed with relief and they both turned and left the crypt without another word.

What time is it by now? (story-wise). If it's the morrow, I have more stories to write.

That strange tongue I used in my small story was Irish, just wanted everyone to know.  ;D

I will wait. Until then....

Another tavern.

A large man dressed in a tricorn hat, a coat and breeches with a wolfspelt cloak walked inside. He rejoined his friends in a quiet corner table and sat down. "Any sign of Fredul?" one of them asked, almost immediately.
"Nay." he replied grimmly. "I suspect Laochas bested him for the last time."
Another man (Let's call him grunter, but not to his face) grunted "We never did tame that pup."
The men chuckled at memories of a time past. "Is it really our place to take him?" the first man asked. "He has friends here, and an honest job, more then he ever had or will have back home."
There was a silence as the men contemplated this, though they already knew the answer.
"Orders is orders." One said, simply.
The men stood and left.

The Bloodhounds were seeking their lost pup.

Walter's father (Lord Wolfrags) has sent men to find him.

Sorry if it's a tad confusing.

Huh. How is it that every single new journal entry from you guys opens up more story possibilities and helps me solve old problems with the plot?

About 20 years ago, Lord Wolfrags castle,

Laochas watched, his face a mask of disgust and terror.
He watched the man, his fancy clothes shreded by brand and whip, as his face was held underwater. Everytime, the man came up he was sobbing and screaming for forgivness.
But Lord Wolfrags did not forgive.
Laochas wished to turn away, but his father's hand prevented that.
"Do you see, Laochas, how any man will break eventually?"
Laochas remembered the man who entered this castle; strong, dignified and defiant. That same man was now gruelling for his life at Wolfrag's feet.
"Yes father."
"Fine!" the man screeched desperately. "I'll give you the merchant's route." As he spoke, his voice went from high screech to a low, sorrowful moan.
Lord Wolfrags grinned and his grip on Laochas' shoulder for a second, then he took his hands away completely. He walked over to the man, called Deok, Laochas thought, and embraced him like a brother.
"I'm glad." Wolfrags said, his voice oozing with his traditional charm. "You'll find me more agreeable when you give me what I want."
The Lord clapped his hands and ordered the man another pair of clothes from 2 servants who appeared like magic. Neither of them seemed particularly unnerved by the scarred and bruised man, or the torture chamber they were in. Then again, why would they? They'd seen it more then a dozen times before.
Laochas' father clapped a hand on his shoulder and said, "While I speak with our, eh...esteemed guest, would you organize the riders?"
Laochas' eyes widened. "But... Father...." Laochas' mind was reeling. The Choosing of the Riders was the most meaningful ritual in Lord Wolfrags' power.
Wolfrags gripped his shoulder tightly, and looked him in the eye.
"You are ready."
Jeriah, his father's personnal assistant, gave him a roll of parchment with the Rider's Seal on it.
Laochas grasped it in trembling fingers and ran off, already deciding in his mind who to choose.

He arrived at his first choice, a friend of his called Crey, who was a skilled rider, but had yet to gain his honour.
He walked over and before Crey could say anything, Laochas recited;
"Do you, Rider of your Lord, Crey Hardgro, accept to part of Your Lord's Hunt?"
Crey's eyes widened and he froze on the spot. Then he turned to face Laochas and replied simply;
"I do."
Laochas simply nodded, fearing his voice would betray him and wrote Crey's name on the parchment.

Jackrabbit, would it be okay to write a bit about CrazyFace as if he exists in this world, to give him a bit of character, even though he isn't in the story (yet?)
(I promise to write in a way that won't have any effect on the world's/story's "lore"/"canon")

But what do I know?
Everything I say should be taken with atleast 1 tsp. of salt, and another liter of Dwarven Wine is recommended.

"I thought it was the size of the others!" said Vanon. "I guess it was just standing further away!"

Yeah, I think this thread crossed the single-multi-author threshhold a while ago.

But I still have absolute control over everything, not least the current level of attachment characters have to their privates.
