This thread is awesome and made of epic-winnes.
I've read the whole thing over the weekend, very interesting and addictive. Great job Jackrabbit (and the same for everyone else, your journals are important and interesting!)
But seeing as I'm a selfish bum that hasn't even visited these forums in a couple of years, I'll just assault you (jackrabbit) with a request for a dwarf:
Name: UNKNOWN, but everyone else calls him CrazyFace
True to his name, CrazyFace is crazy (and has a face), but not oldbeard crazy or workerdrone crazy, just plain "millennium hand an' shrimp" crazy. ("Damn those avocados trying to attack me. I oughtta just throw a banana on that elephant.").
CrazyFace, while crazy, is usually harmless and tends to not to react to most of what goes on around him. Unless someone physically hurts him, in which case he goes into berserk mode. (Which consists of tearing limbs off of people and then smashing their heads in with the recently torn off limb, or headbutting someone's lungs into a pulp, or biting off their ears.)
While CrazyFace makes no sense to most anyone around him and seems detached, he is very perceptive (though you'd be hard pressed to obtain any useful insight from him).
The only time CrazyFace appears sane is when listening to oldbeard tell his tales, and he is very attentive to those. ((I really like oldbeard, and I really liked the 2D version a lot. [check out the date of my registration to the forums
] You know, in my days there was none of that new-fangled democracy business. We didn't need to choose no damn leader based on a popularity contest, everyone just did what they had to do to survive.))
Ideally, I'd like CrazyFace to meet the gang in some weird manner and decide to follow them around for no obvious reason (or maybe because he is captivated by some oldbeard tale)
At least, I hope you can work that kind of character in with your gracious and infinite story-telling might
Also, if CrazyFace gets added I'll try and give some insights into his deranged psyche (equivalent to "journals"), to help flesh him out.
Though generally I'm quite busy and will probably be gone for many weeks in a few weeks. ("huh?")
Anyway, great thread, love the awesomeness, happy weekend
