And now, we bring you to another episode of:
Behind the keyboardTonight, we look at a very exclusive deleted scene that Jackrabbit was working on, involving the recently created 'powder pistol' of Oldbeards.
Oldbeard walked back into the inn, feeling fantastic. He looked at his pistol lovingly, before walking over where Kogan was sitting. He was being shouted at by Workerdrone. Before Oldbeard could open his mouth a crossbow bolt had flown across the room and embedded itself in the wall. He turned to see eight men standing around a table, one with a crossbow. With impressive speed, he loaded up his pistol and took them all out, filling the room with smoke. The noise was immense. He holstered the pistol and turned back to the two stunned dwarves.
"What the hell was that?" asked Workerdrone.
"It's called a dakka," said Oldbeard.
"Could we get more dakka?" asked Kogan, eying the weapon.
"I don't think there'll ever be enough," responded Oldbeard.
So why was this scene removed? When asked, Jackrabbit invited our interviewer into a montage of thoughts that entered his mind after writing the scene.
"And so," concluded Jackrabbit. "I felt that this work didn't convey all it could about the power and raw emotion of dakka and I was forced to scrap this wonderful piece of writing."
When asked how he planned on rectifying the situation, he responded with "How the hell do you think?" and withdrew a large rifle from under his desk.
Jackrabbit was gunned down by police at 4 in the afternoon. The death toll was 12. In lieu of a funeral, his corpse will be hung from a lamppost, so passersby can abuse his lack of imagination and terrible attempt at wringing a laugh out of the meme "dakka".
((This was far too fun to write))
