It's a goonch!  Technically a catfish, but whatever.

I got it from here:  http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/weird/article1784470.ece#OTC-RSS&ATTR=Weird

Hope they don't get too pissed I ripped their picture.
There once was a man-eating catfish in an asian artificial lake, it was as bigger than a man!
Anyways, it seems like it is an underground river, and everyone, has  taken to a liking of getting ripped apart by the axles!

Well, obviously, graphics happened, and the river couldn't take it, and tried to drown itself in the magma.

Zasit: Those silly humans, we drown their traders every year but they keep sending more.
Monom:I know what you mean, Zasit, think they've drowned yet?
Zasit: I don't hear them struggling anymore, go ahead and open the drainage gate.
Monom: Excellent, want to go have dinner?
Zasit: Sure Monom.
Rimtar: *huff huff* Guys, why is the dining room leaking?!
Zasit And Monom: Oops...

So what was the story on the first pic then?

Anyways,

Urvad the mechanic was the chief inspector of every mechanical device in the fortress. He was scheduled to examine the suspended drowning chamber above the magma pipe for any potential leaks before its activation later today.

But he was really thirsty.

The chamber worked fabulously. Except that bit about the leaking. Urvad convinced upper management that he was the only dwarf that could fix it, thus avoiding being its next victim.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I see huge piles of dead humans, water and magma..... Looks like everything has gone according to plan! Now all that needs to be done is for the edges to be channelled out so the whole thing can be dropped into the magma =)
