It's a masterfully crafted engraving in microcline of a blinded dwarf looking at a wall with an engraving a of a blinded dwarf looking at a wall in microcline. It refers to the event of late-spring 2009 when Byakugan01 got blinded by a wall.

I just realized that I made my fortress directly over the HFS.  Because I did the savescum-abandon-regen-refind dance to check where everything was.

I was looking for the UR.  Which is all the way on the other side of my 6x6 embark.  Next to the 1 tile brook.  Great.  2 tiles of UR, and 6 pages of dead lizardmen!
