A funny thing happened...
« on: April 24, 2009, 11:17:10 am »

I had my first admantine artifact ( Worth over a million dwarf bucks :o ) and my mayor's Super Furnished House Of Awesomeness is complete, suddenly, i got this message: "The mayor and the miner have gotten married, congratulations!" the miner is a woman, that was a thought...Dwarf women: Best gold-diggers in the world :D

Anywho, a new mayor was elected, shortly after my miner "fell" into a chasm. Yeah...

At any rate, in all this was pretty...Weird, anyone else have something like that happen to them in their fortress?

stack of 10 prepared dragonfly brains - I'm trying to imagine what's more funny: a dwarf popping a tiny dragonfly brain into his mouth for a snack, the butcher who actually prepared this feast, or the brave hunter who ventured out into the wilderness and returned with this bounty.

Dwarven soul transfer.

Pregnant woman right next to moody dwarf who's gone stark raving mad.

At the exact instant the dwarf died of thirst, the chick gave birth to a baby.

That dude is immortal!

My engraver just engraved this in the mayors luxury suite: Engraved on the wall is finely-designed image of Lokum Womancastles ( Leader of the mountainhomes ) and TOADS by Tulon Nethcatten. Lokum Womancastles is surrounded by toads. Lokum Womancastles looks terrified.

Wow, what a masculine image for the dwarven Empire.
