Can I shoot down into that little hole, given that I'm standing on a 2-high wall?

The colored boxes depict where the sides can place their units. Now that the round has started, they have no effect.

Frelock, yes you can. Just do the math and see. He still has four sniper units, two of them with 3 power.

Moves.

Marksman 04 - E, JD, Shoot at Nemesis 03 M14, E, JD
Dragoon 03 - E, JD, NE, Fire at Nemesis 03 M13, S, JD
Musketeer 01 - E, Shoot at Nemesis 03 M13
Musketeer 02 - E, Shoot at Nemesis 04 M14

Yeah, how would I say the jumping off things properly? And how many moves does it actually take?

EDIT: Made a guess regarding jumping off stuff.

Jumping, up or down one level, takes 1 move. You don't need to jump up or down if the terrain difference ends up being 0.5 - the robot can fall that far without damage or climb up that far if needed.

I have to go now, unfortunately, so might not be able to update the map. Depends on your luck and mine.

Moves accepted. I'll try to remember the rolls as they were, but don't count on it too much. The result is still the same, I don't know what got messed up and how I managed to type the results in and not post them.

Marksman 4->M14(Nemesis 4):(A{3+2}/D{1+2}) Hit! {2} Gun arm hit for 2 damage! Gun arm destroyed!
Dragoon 3->M13(Nemesis 3):(A{3+2}/D{5+2}) Miss!
Musketeer 1->M13(Nemesis 3):(A{1+3}/D{5+2}) Miss!
Musketeer 2->M14(Nemesis 4):(A{4+3}/D{6+2}) Miss!

There, that seems right. In any case, Nemesis 2's gun got blown off, that's what the round map is telling me.

Yep, since you're playing Mercenaries in round 2.

Remember that Grunts have 4 move (Behemoth also has 4 move for that matter), moving diagonally is possible but costs 1.4 move, jumping up or down costs 1 move, and you can attack whenever your unit has an enemy in range and out of cover, even if the unit is still in the air when it's attacking.

The first post has details on all of that, but if you're lazy and have good eyes you can see the stats on the unit icons. They are represented by small bars in the lower left corner of each icon. The big squares under the bars are not counted. Green bars are the move, the yellow bars are range, dim yellow inside them is the ranged power, the orange are melee power, and the skyblue are shield power.

The "little guys" have names and numbers. You have Grunts 1 to 8, and a Behemoth 9.

Darn.  Well that was the one thing I really didn't want to happen.  Why couldn't it have been the shield pack, or the torso, or even the legs?

My plan is so screwed...

Alright, I guess I will move all my guys 1 left, and 1 down, then do nothing.

Best fluke shot ever.
Also, Musketeer 02 got the same value as Nemesis 4, and in your first post you said
Quote from: Sean Mirrsen
If the attacker's final roll is equal or higher, the attack hits, and another roll determines the hit location.
But I'm fine with the rolls how they are. Just thought it was worth a mention.

And Frelock, if I got the shield pack my next turn would have been lethal.;)

On the contrary, I have enough move points to jump down behind that wall, and then every turn thereafter, enough move points to jump up, shoot, and jump down again.  This turn was the only turn they were going to be exposed.
