"Minedrip the Days of Sport". A malachite trumpet. Menacing with spikes of cow bone. On the item is an image of two fungiwood. Yay! I guess half of the future artifacts and engravements in my fortress will depict a trumpet with trees on it. I feel elvish now.

Maybe it's a new bug, but this thing is worth nothing at all.

Edit: No bug, just a fortresswide lack of appraisal skill. Second artifact is a leather shield. Decorated with leather. Great. And I have a legendary tanner now. But no pic of the trumpet so far.

Most unlame artefact ever:
Steel Chainmail.
This is a steel chainmail. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is studded with steel and encircled with bands of Orthoclase.

Sounds average...but the price is 253200 dwarf bucks... 

That made up 1/3 of fortress value when it was first made...

Just got a dolomite throne with an engraving of my Chief Medical Dwarf on it.  I guess I'll give it to him, even though he has no need for a throne.

I've gotten some good and some bad. I've gotten a sterling silver short sword worth around 35,000 dwarfbucks, followed by a rope reed cloak, a chestnut earring, and a chestnut toy axe. I now have two legendary woodcrafters whose use is limited at best.
Someone made a limestone quern, and another made a maple grate. Hey, legendary masons and carpenters are always good. The muskox bone bracelet between those two wasn't as cool, especially since I got no legendary out of it.
Then, someone else made a dog bone war hammer, worth almost 120,000 dwarfbucks. Sadly, I don't really know how well it would work in a fight.

Best artifact I've made, and the most recent, is a steel chainmail suit worth almost 375,000. It's no Trailmachines, but still a hell of a suit of armor for my leading Champion.

Just got my worst artifact EVER. The Dipped Furs. Worth 2400 dorfbucks.

This is a gypsum ring. All craftsdwarship is of the highest quality. On the item is an image of the The Dipped Furst the gypsum ring in gypsum.
