Hypocritical Treehuggers
« on: April 22, 2009, 10:34:00 pm »

NATURE IS SACRED, DO NOT HARM THE TREES.

However, all leather is acceptable.  Go on, kill them kittens and sell us their skins.  They make great carpets in our forest.

The fur is so soft.........oh yes.......mmm, that feels good...........

Shame this fort is so new, I haven't been able to set up the drowning system yet.  Fire makes smoke, and that's bad for the earth.  Besides, it wrecks their trade goods :P

Wait, that's hypocritical? And the fact that they sell you large amounts of lumber isn't?

They sing it out of trees, the poncy bastards. Of course, if you try to sell it back to them, you're a murderous tree killer. YEAH? WELL THANKS TO MAGMA YOU'RE NOW A OBSIDIAN STATUE. WHAT NOW PUNK?

For that viciously bad pun, I'm gonna introduce a NPC named Vlynndar just so that I can kill him of in a cruel and unusual way.
Watermelons are pretty important.

"No. At the trade depot. The elves have arrived"

There are three things I know about dwarves:
1. They've got beards. Even the women.
2. They're short. Especially the women.
3. They're Scottish.

"Oh gods. Some are still alive."

Actually, they were. I traded some glassware for a pet jaguar and a pet leopard. ;D

'Nonsense, Urist. Elves aren't people. Every dwarf knows THAT.'

The Raven has been knocked unconcious!

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.
