EDIT: I also hit and kick the elevator till it starts or something happens. Rolled 2.

Your foot clangs loudly on the massive elevator but nothing happens.

You notice a small maintenance door off to the other side of the elevator. Maybe there is something in there you can use to get the lift going again.

You bring up the elevators system schematics.
It indicates that the inner gear assembly has become jammed and will need to be repaired at the next maintenece station.

you enter the dank and cramped hallway. It is poorly lit and has a strange odor to it.

It seems to stretch on for quite a ways before spliting to the left and the right.

We'll all go left, with Org in the lead. We might be able to make it to Ocean's Bounty without the elevator. Anyway, we probably have something waiting for us at the bottom of the elevator shaft.
