Oh, third line is six
That was my silly mistake
But first line is five

Oh, unless you count the s as a separate syllable, which i suppose it is. Whoops.

Big hard steel hammer
Artifact weapon has he
This will end badly

There, five, seven, five
Happy now Mr.Engineer?
Throw you in magma

Last words while being thrown in magma:

"But first line only five
1...2.....3....4..5..6!"

I suggest you re-read the first two lines of that Haiku.

Also;

Blasphemous Haiku Fun
Just to make you angry, sir
This line has six as well

Yet another siege.
Yet another massacre.
Yet more piles of junk.

So many levers.
Gears, axles, pumps, and floodgates.
Which one fucks the world?

Deconstructing wall.
With my baby in my hand.
Whoops! *splash* My baby!

I love to haiku.
Haiku, haiku, hai... Damn it.
Haiku all day long.

Elven caravan!
*slam* *gurgle gurgle gurgle*
Look, Urist! A bear!

Ah, digging channels.
Miner has died in the heat.
What the fuck? AGAIN?!?

ASCII in my sleep.
Dreaming of catastrophe.
Load save... Phew, they're fine.

A tendon in the skull has been torn!
The Raven has been knocked unconcious!

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

Miners chip through stone
Chasing the Adamantine
At the King's command

Glorious metal
Dig along the vein to find
Not ore, but hellfire

Reclaimers find this:
Engraved demons surround dwarves
The dwarves are weeping.

These oddball forums
What is up with the penguins?
It baffles the mind
It's a fad, and
was spawned from who knows where, so
do not inquire.

I burned all the elves
flesh blackened as they all died
I broke down laughing

Priceless artifact
Poorly positioned raised bridge
Oh god the carnage

(Is raised one syllable?)

Urist mines the depths
Urist McMiner has struck-
Urist is no more

Haiku nitpicking
is new forum amusement.
Talk tilesets, please?

And, quoting Steve Jackson:

Haiku!  Pardon me.
Haiku! It's pollen season.
Haiku! Damn.  Haiku!

Urist Austin, Axedwarf.  A dwarf barely alive.  Gentledwarves, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic dwarf. Urist Austin will be that dwarf. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

You spit out the Child chunk
The Child vomits

Oh, adventure mode...
Make all your reports haiku!
Poetic carnage.

An Ambush! Curse them!
Send forth the marksdwarves! Guards! Guards!
My poor woodcutters...

EDIT:
The haiku addict
I cannot stop thinking them!
Stop the poetry!

EDIT 2 (revenge of the edit): AaaaAaaaAahhh make the madness cease! Why did you have to start a haiku thread, why? :P
