My step-dad's step-dad has two guns, a 22mm rifle and a 12 gauge shotgun.  I fired both and I was quite good he said.  I hit the targets 60% of the time.  I only shot the shotgun once though, ha.  It was too powerful for my taste.




As for the fireworks they were crumby, so we do what all good men do.  We through them all on the fire at once.  *BOOM WIZZLE BOOM POP ETC* It was cool.  Then finally my step-dad's--you know that one he brought out some type of shooting firework that makes big boom.  Needless to say one misfired NEXT TO ME.  You ever see the war movies when you black out for a second and then you can't hear anything for 5 minutes?  Yeah that happened to me.  I'm ok though, it was sortof cool except for the pain part.

Well, I just so happened to start playing X-COM: UFO Defense for fun and I must say wow.  The first thing I know is there is a terrorist threat in some European country so like the good man I am I send my troops out.  The second my first guy walks out of the ship he gets shot three times and dies.  I send out my second guy, he is also shot dead.  My third guy manages to return fire, I send the rest out after that ok.  I end my turn.  THE HOUSE NEXT TO ME EXPLODES.  THERE IS FLOATING ROBOT JELLYFISH AFTER ME.  HELPPPP MEEEEE.



This is fun, maybe I'll give you the end results.  Maybe.

Best advice for X-Com? Kill Aliens, don't die. As long as one of your guys manages to follow that advice, you're fine.

Oh, and sell off excess alien corpses and weapons for money. Especially plasma rifles, as Heavy plasma rifles are superior in just about every way.

I have two guys alive right now, one panicked and ran all around the place and the other was in the ship about to abort the mission, but then the one in the ship went under alien control??!?!  NOOO!!!!!  My only hope is this guy and he has to go guess where?  THE SHIP.  SHIT.  Don't be there alien human guy with large cannon that became traitor.

This site has pretty much all the knowledge you could need for the game. And then some. It's online version of the ufopaedia is pretty useful.
