Chasm -- Fuel for the Arena!

Ok, what is the best way that I could capture the trugs and gremlins in my newly found chasm? I really want to capture them and release them in my trianing arena.

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

Just build a single title tunnel towards them, build tons of cage traps in it and then dig away the last title.
