I just uploaded a site to the DFFD that may meet your needs...

Rawr, heavy on the volcanoes and rivers in general! I'm definitely checking this out.

Edit: holy crap! I love what the brook has done to this map!

Yea, that almost exactly what I've been looking for.  I'm gonna have to do a lot of digging to find the magma and pool, but thats ok.  Any idea what level they're at?  Just hoping to make my life a little easier and the map look neater.  I'm a neat-freak :D.

If this all doesn't fix it, your dwarfs are lazy. Apply magma.

Try rubbing a cat on it, that seems to help.

No clue yet... I did some digging under the obsidian formation to the south hoping it'd be that easy, but no such luck.

Of course, this map is covered with lignite and coal, so there's plenty of time to find the magma.

Edit: Oh, but there's a much larger obsidian group to the southeast! Checking that out now.

Edit2: Oops. Magma isn't there either, but the bottomless pit is just S-SE from that middle valley.

It's not excactly what you get, because I made some changes in the Landscape, to let the wagons pass, but nothing big.
You can find the Map i use, when you are searching for:

16x16
River
Undergroundriver
Flux
Magma Pipe
Other Features/HFS
Chasm
Bottmless Pit
No Aquifer

It's located near a Goblin Tower, only a few region map tiles away.

I let you discover the hidden features for youself, but if you can't find them, just ask.

Urist's spot looks nice, might give that a shot.

SenorOcho, as a heads up, don't dig too much in the middle of the map, if you do you'll have lots of fun. My dwarves had fun when they started digging there.

Goodess, Urist McManiac, 16x16?!  Are you playing with a dwarf cap?  Although the layout looks pretty nice!

Nope, no Population-Cap, if you mean this.
Just the standart 200 dwarfs per Fortress, althoug the highest I get were 180 dorfs. It lags pretty bad when scrolling, of course, but with a little bit of patience, and a good PC, it's a dream to play on 16x16. Enough space for a huge fortress and a pretty big siege.

Sheesh. If I could play on 16x16 maps I wouldn't have to search for embark sites. 16x16s with everything are all over the place.

Now, most of the features are in a 8x8 area, just the bottomless Pit is outside. But I lik to play on 16x16

Now my computer is wasting cycles fantasizing about that.  Great.  There goes the last 20 fps...

Oh? Am I standing on the pool? Or is that where the HFS is?  ;D

It's sad.  I've had the seeds since the beginning of the week, but I haven't been able to play because of two big papers due next week.  Life is seriously digging into my DF time...

I just uploaded a site to the DFFD that may meet your needs.  Has sand, magma pipe, lots of sedimentary layers, fun stuff, a hidden magma pipe, cave pool (not river, sorry, but does have a brook), and bottomless pit.  Without using any cheats, you can see bauxite and magnetite everywhere, and there are plenty of trees on the left side.  It is savage, though.

Enjoy!

Hey, Belathus, what smelter reaction did you mod in?  Because I can't run it without that reaction in my raws, it kicks me out.

I didn't add any smelter reactions.  All stones are, however, set to economic.  I just used Mayday's pack.  Well, more accurately, I installed 40d11, then copied the raws from a previous install using Mayday's stuff.  There is also that cat fix, I believe (the one that gives them a graspable mouth).  I don't know of anything else that'll stop someone from playing it.
