We are discussing Twitter, not anything objectionable. But yes, Twitter is the most pointless addition to the internet since social networking sites and image boards.

Imageboards do at least serve a function.  If you're looking for a particular image, you can just ask for it and someone out there might have what you need, instead of a long frustrating scourfest on GoogleImages.

Social networking is an abomination. It's basically a comptetition amongst girls of how 'seksy lol' they can make their display picture, and a competition amongst guys of how many myspace whores they can put on their friends lists in a vain attempt to make their friends jealous/rant about failure.
