Megaproject complete!

Definitely the most artistic fortress I've ever made.  This took quite a while!  If you want to see the other levels, check out the map archive link.

This. Start digging. You might want a big map.

Bonus points if each level is a zoom of the last.

Satisfactory!

This really is a mega build, and I'll just take the idea of a watered walk way.

Wow that's pretty...

Are those the "elements" by any chance? Kind of looks lke it, although I can't make them all out. Clockwise, my estimations: Death, fire, wind, earth, water, purple star magic what????, metal.

[Healthcare Update Thread] Personally, I can't wait for doctors to get possessed and start surgically attaching axes to champion soldier's arms.

I liked it. This is one of the more architecturally interesting mega-projects that I've seen.

Clockwise from top, I would say, death, fire, (trade depot/material?), wind, life, water, (purple star/magic?/ethereal?), earth -- that way every element is opposite its... opposite.

That's right.  The trade depot is made of black bronze (which is actually purple).  There's no tower on that side because that's the fortress entry.  Also I wouldn't know what's the opposite of magic.  Mundanity?  The life tower is supposed to look like a large tree trunk.

ooh! Make a giant golden bubble with diagonal towers shooting off of it to represent the sun, and then make a whitish-blue version (no rays) with a few darker spots for the moon!

Also I wouldn't know what's the opposite of magic.

I'll have to say that Simplicity is the opposite. maybe a square?

The opposite of magic? Science of course. Screwpump the hell out of something, and integrate siege engines.

...Err, yeah. Very cool. The brook road is a pretty awesome idea.
