Sup, how about dwarfs get "into afterlive" by the way there god dictates.

Successfull matching "burial" will grant happnies to other dwarfs that where his friends/lovers -> "Has attained a well done funreal lately"

That's not what the OP was, G-Flex. Sure, having different civ's treat dead differently is fine. A nice way to differentiate the different civs when they get put in. Maybe have gobbos not care at all if dead are bureid and they treat each other like slaughterable animals (so when one dies the butcher takes the corpse down to the butchery...)

Humans can burn theres or bury theres (either requires a furnace or coffin, set up in options menu)
Elves demand to be burned (to sprinkle their ashes to fertilize trees, but that's fluff)

That's fine. But the OP suggested implementing a tedious "mini-game" of match the god to the burial which sounded like a big steamy pile of pointless micromanagement.

Man, dwarves are such a**holes!

Even automatic genocide would be a better approach

I actually intended it to be automatic - executed if possible (maybe with message) not executed if not possible.

Civ wise seems like a better idear to be honest.
