Since its an alpha an'all, it would be very useful to have each individual dwarf die with a push of a button.
Like, right now i have this stupid ass, that stands in the well he just dug, and spams me with : "xxx cancels drink : cant find path".

Oooooh, i'm practically praying to every god out there that he die soon...

That would be awesome.  Should probably not be able to kill nobles though?
But yes, I hate the repeated messages.  Worst I've had with my current fort (which I just realized I bungled, as Fortifications will let floods through!  Gah, there goes my plans of flooding sections of the main hall with magma with this one area behind a wall with all the switches safe.  And with arrow slots just in case!
(I just removed the two switches that caused that area to flood, so I can still flood *most* of the deeper fortress.  Still need to drag the magma up past the river...)
Er, worst with this fort is that one of my aquaducts (for water) was "can not find path" and for some inane reason the dwarf was pathing through where I built a floodgate and couldn't find the hole just a *tad* farther towards the outside (and him) that lead into the same channel system. 9.9
