I think i have amazing idea, build this along a haunted shore line, and fill your pit with undead whales (they can't climb out right?).

I think they may jump "one title" when they strand.

I got some awesome idears from the "hunting mearmaid" Thread, but right now I first have to somehow cut off the 3 rivers that feed the ocean of carp

"Yeah. My plan was to drop some kittens into the siege, and have my dwarves freefall into battle, landing on top of the kittens. The plan was kinda dumb though because the kittens were standing on grates, and the goblins killed them with arrows just as I was releasing the freefalling dwarves. So the dwarves weren't able to land on kittens and just fell and died."

Mmkay.
I added [PET][COMMON_DOMESTIC][PETVALUE:1] to the GCS, but couldn't take them on embark in a world I'd already made.  Bad planning on my part also means I can't easily check to see if the hypocritical, treehugging hippies elves bring them to trade.

However, when I made a new world after adding those tokens, a GCS is the first animal listed as buyable, at 6 points.  Schweet.  If you want a more realistic price for their awesomeness, increase PETVALUE.

I made dragons buyable and I now have them as watch towers, here is how it goes;

W = wall        R = ramp     D = Dragon  F = Forti.

(Seen from above)

R                                      R
WWW  Pit dragon in middle    WWW           Remove Ramp                 FFF
W   W ----------------->     WDW   ----------------------->          FDF
WWW                                WWW       and make Fortifications        FFF

and you get a nice flamethrower. Its as usefull as it is deadly for your own dwarfs

how to make GCS tradeable?
i need elves bringing me death machines not fuzzy animals.


[COMMON_DOMESTIC] is what your searching for I think.

They cost roughly 1200 btw.

My spiders now have names, after eating the first orc siege. They seem very bussy with themself. I am trying to catch wildlife to feed to them atm.

Oh and webs keep shoting out of the "trap".
I can finally stop asking how to shot web!
