Wouldn't it be more beneficial to kill me (a known power role) in the night than a survivor alien who sides with the town (who would effectively be a regular townie that does not have to die for the Dopps to win)? Or am I missing something? The Dopps would have no reason to kill a Survivor alien instead of people who are actually townies.

That's true. Also, there is no point in a known power role. You could easily be a Dopp with that power...
