>Use psychokinesis to wrong adventure
>grab the syringe out of his hand and start walking menacingly towards him. say "Now this will only hurt until your brains come flying out."
EDIT: And just what is this inconvenience you speak of? if it's the hiatus then why is it necessary? Does that have anything to do with the symbolism?

The man looks poised to counterretort.  He blinks once behind his thick spectacles, and slowly lowers the syringe.  He looks back at the gaudy poster behind him forlornly...

Noo! You're being railroaded into destroying the world! Think back, Jon! Resist! Resist the urge to fight, and give in!

You are already a criminal. He said it yourself, you killed your parents. So one more murder wouldn't hurt.

How do we know he's telling the truth?

Why would he lie? Even villains have morals.

It seem more villainous to tell us that we killed our parents.

If we live through this, we should ask the others to if they got the same story.

Yo, bitches.

That dude is a bird.  Totally.

The thing to do would be some stabbing with that needle.  Air int he blood, it's not good mojo.

But, it's all cool if you ain't up for that, just grab the needle and dash.

See John run, man.

believe in me

Hm, that is an even better strategy. This will make you seem slightly less insane (which you already are, I believe, but that's not the point). Grab the syringe as a weapon for self-defence and get the hell out of here!
