Yesss
John
You need your demonic eye crown first and foremost
You must close your eyes and think about your crown being on your head. Really, really hard. Imagine the hard spikiness and the waves of pure evil that pulse through it. You must imagine the orderlies being all like: Oh noes john what are you doing?
You must imagine the weight pressing down on your neck. You must imagine your head tipping forwards, the crown slipping off. You must imagine the sound of it hitting the floor. You must imagine reaching out and grabbing it before it rolls away.
Then you must imagine opening your eyes and still having the crown.
You probably shouldn't actually open your eyes.
That might have negative effects.

Try some various lucid dreaming and self-hypnosis techniques? Meditate.

The obsession laughs derisively.

"HAH!  Just because this world is contained within your demented mind, you think that you have control over it?  You forget, John, that there are two things one can be certain of, that you exist, and that something else exists too.

You cannot anticipate what is to come.  Therefore, there is something else - an Other, if you will.  Whether that something else is the ordered universe with multiple conscious entities that you always have assumed, a machine feeding you an illusion, or even a shut off portion of your own subconscious mind, it is something you cannot predict, or control.  What’s more, the ever-larger question is the PURPOSE of this other.

Is it here to teach you something?  Or to torture you?

Welcome to the wonderful reality of Tock.
It is up to you to find out what resides in the tower.  But first, you must escape this place, and return to the field of bodies.  And it so happens I know a way…"

Somehow i get the feeling this demonic apparition isn't just going to openly tell us what that way is. But that snail fellow is still bothering me. Just who is he anyway? And what does he have to do with us?

*Stumbles in with a hangover...

Wow!  What a party!  The plot was there and everything!  But I just can't shake the feeling that I forgot something...

Oh right.  The story.

Ugh, I know you guys probably enjoy this crudely drawn black and white nigh-linear nightmare we find ourselves in as much as I do, but it is a neccessary nuisance.  You see, this part of the story symbolizes... something or other.  I forget.  It's been a long time.

Anyway, onward to glory (and hopefully out of this dreary non-crayony blah world)!!
-------------------------------------

The obsession, after a very long dramatic pause that seemed like an eternity, looked up at the sound of footsteps.

“They are coming, John.  I must make this quicker than I anticipated.  To see this place for what it is, you need three things…
First, the blood of an enemy.  Second, the sight of an innocent. And last, the death of a friend!  I believe you should be able to see which is which…”

And with that, he vanished, and the door to the cell creaked open:

John:  “What’s wrong?”

Orderly:  “Come with me.”

“John, I’m afraid that you did not listen to me as well as I hoped.  I warned you of trying to resist your treatment.  I explained the ramifications of going through the healing process unwillingly.

You see, we have gained awareness of your reluctance to take your medicine.  Do you know how dangerous it is to only take three of the four pills?  Do you know what it could do to your already unstable mind?

Fortunately for you, we have in our possession a… depressant that does the same job.  It will end your hallucinations for a very long time, and set you back on the road to recovery…”

----------------------------------

What should John do?

John! All you can trust is your memory. Remember, the cycle. Obeying the obsession continues the cycle. Break the cycle! Obey, and take the medicine!

Request for your legal guardian now. If they do not do so, threaten a lawsuit. As you are a child, you cannot legally provide "informed consent" to this treatment.

"Your parents are dead, John.  You killed them, and no one knows you're here.  No one cares.

Now then, we shall take a blood sample for posterity, and then administer treatment."

At this, he becomes enraged, plucks up the empty syringe, and waves it threateningly in front of John.

"You do not see things for what they are!  If you are allowed to think what you will, this place will come tumbling down upon us!  Without general consensus, there cannot be a reality!  Without happiness, there cannot be a society!  This world is a utopia, and you complain of smoke that isn't there!"

"Utopia is unachievable, for humans are inherently aliened with Chaos. They claim to work for order, but to do so would be to destroy what we hold dear. Freedom, individuality, love, there do not work with your code or laws. You are not here to cure my madness, you're here to break my soul"
*slow clap* bravo
good show
