We were just voices from under John's hat. With Sophia, I think we just put ideas into her head. She can't hear us, per se, but we have minor control over her thought processes. This can lead to the conclusion that we are nothing but thoughts in her head, and as such a construct of her own mind that was created by her or another entity. This brings the obvious question to mind: Why are we here?
