Which is why I try not recommend DF to other gamers.

It inhibits a person from having an actual life. :)

Well, we've talked about this countless times already....considering that even this alpha version is very addictive...v1.0 will force you to uninstall all other games, because you will only spend your precious time on DF after that point.  :D

And because savegames will be HUGE!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!1111!!!

Also, it will take a minimum of 5 years to fully learn to play.

I plan to get a PhD in Dwarf Fortress Studies
