A Sub-Forum
« on: April 11, 2009, 01:36:34 pm »

Ok guys, i have a proposal to put forward. I suggest we set up a forum on a Cheap/Free server that allows us to add a bit more sillyness to our lives as we live together in this Forum. Hopefully, we would be able to set up a proper spam thread and other general topics that would be beyond the reach of Dwarf Fortress, but still include it, this would also allow us to develope our eCharacters and become more famous and well mknown for traits that you may possess. Let me know of your views and Toady... if your out there please give me an opinion.

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

Mulch,

YOU RECITE PASSAGES FROM THE LOLCAT BIBLE!  You've always *thrived* on the childish and memetic retardation that springs up like this, why do you keep trying to fool yourself?

And Hoborobo, talk to PTTG?? about it, if you're really serious.  He has a forum already, and briefly mentioned the possibility of moving some of th VN things there.

Alternatively, find a previously existing nonsense forum and just start some threads there.  Hell, try 4Chan.

Kagus your wrong, very very wrong. I havn't even though of that lolcat bible thing in at least a year and a half, maby two years. I dislike VN because its turned into a hole full of stupid threads that are for nothing, that arn't funny, not even entertaining. All this "Anti Yuri" crap, and the penguin thing, and all the other stupid spam threads. Silly memes, like saying "Its a trap!" when it fits, and saying "Gentlemen" when you join a tf2 server, or mention it to friends, is alot different from VN..

It's a mostly dead forum that I'm sure PTTG would be happy to sacrifice to the nonsense. In fact, he has stated this before.
