After one of my champions obliviously dodged into a pool of magma, one of his items melted into a "bloody vomitous bloody molten Copper laced with goblin blood".

I don't know what the original item was. For reference, the molten item is 89 dwarfpounds and worth 0 dwarfbucks. The "contents" are "blood covering, vomit covering, goblin blood spatter".

Even if we want to keep track of the two blood types separately in the "Contents", I don't think the word "bloody" should repeat in the prefix. Also, goblin blood shouldn't make the item both bloody and "laced with goblin blood".

Maybe the game just doesn't like the bloody thing?

Anyway, it could be that there is the blood of several different creatures on it. I'm guessing though.

I agree that it contains the blood of two different creatures. I don't think that that means the word "bloody" should appear twice in the item's title.

And I definitely don't think that it should appear three times.

Mind you there is a bloody vomit object, so mayhaps the problem here is improper grammar.

The vomit on the object has blood mixed in it, the molten copper has blood mixed in it, and the molten object is laced with even more blood.

In otherwords, the magma gave him a papercut.

and then he fell in.
