Hide "no" skills and unselected tasks
« on: September 30, 2006, 03:25:00 am »

It would make preparing carefully for a fresh dwarf fortress game easier if there was a toggle to hide the skills that your dwarves don't have.  In the same way that choosing equipment only shows you the items you have at least one of, and you have to add "N)ew" items, it would be nice to toggle on and off the complete list of skills so you could easily browse up and down the list of dwarves to see what skills you have covered.

In a similar vein, I'd love it if in the actual dwarf fortress game you could toggle on and off hiding the unselected labour options of your dwarves.  If you wanted to set someone doing something new, you could toggle on all the jobs, but otherwise you could use the v->p->l screen to review what each dwarf is set to do without having to scroll (much).
