Also, having rolled I can safely say: shoruke what the hell? You haven't made many friends this turn.

Oh dear, I seem to have got a 1. Crap.

I am utterly nondescript in my looks. The only way people can distinguish me is by what I do.

Okay, here we go, turn 1. Could have been better but also could have been much, much worse.

Round One

In. I think I've got a pretty good grasp what NOT to do as a GM.

Action - Frantically search for better clothes.

5- After a frantic search in all conrners of the room, you somehow manage to rustle up some pretty nice clothes! You now have Nice clothes

I want in. Are we able to spontaneously learn magic via dice roll, or do we need to find items to help learn it?

Edit - Action: Try to learn illusion magic by creating an illusionary black cat. In the darkness, yes. I'm good at illusion magic.

2- You summon all your power and attempt with all your might to learn illusionary magic. Org slaps you for making funny sounds and nothing happens (save a small fistfight)

I'm in.

I attempt to learn fire magic.

(hint for GM-ing... also use preview)

1- Your attempts to learn fire magic are met with failure. Worse still, you managed to blind everyone in the room for 1 turn (-1 to any non-thought based action for the rest of this turn and the next)

I love the smell of a new RTD in the morning.  Smells like epic failure.

I'm in.

As to an action, though the door!

3-1- you stumble around blindedly before giving up and deciding to wait the blindness out

Background: I have some very convenient form of amnesia.  All I remember is my name and the names of those around me.

I look in my backpack for any useful stuff, like a shortsword and some nice flamable grease, I might have missed

2-1- You hold your backpack over your head and shake it. The torch falls out and hits you on the forhead. You are lightly bruised in the forehead. You pick up the torch and put it back in your backpack.

Background: Unfortunately, I suffer from an anxiety disorder called selective mutism. I am unable to speak to anybody unless I feel like it.

I gesture for everyone to come with me, and then I continue on forward through the dungeon entrance.

6-1- You tell everyone to come with you in a loud, commanding voice. Everyone agrees there's bugger all else to do. You head off into the dungeon but you have only gone a short way before encountering... A dead end... At the end of the corridor lies a small sacrificial altar. A statue of the God it praises rests infront of a small bowl. You get the feeling it wasn't used to hold water and furthermore, you can feel a presence in the room. Spooky

I look around for a weapon of some sort.

3-1- You find no weapons, in the empty room, nor at the altar

I SEARCH FOR TRAPS!!!

It be trap searching time! 3-1- You find no traps, but not due to any skill on your part.

Background: I'm very cautious, but at the same time very jumpy, unnerved especially by people walking up behind me and clasping me by the shoulder.

I look around for anything that could be dangerous and then proceed to follow the others.

2-1- You powers of deduction are awe inspiring. You notice the rock wall is made of stone and the altar is round and, in all probability, an altar. Everyone ridicules you but thanks to inaluct you made it to where you wanted to be.

I'll do the same.  :P

3-1 you realize that inaluct already succeeded, so you don't bother.

I pull out a paper clip from my backpack, because I would totally have a paperclip.

5-1- you pull out a paperclip from you backpack. You now have a paperclip

Spoiler: Statuses. Big. (click to show/hide)

I say something inspiring enough to negate blindness for everyone else.. Something about how 'sometimes, we can only see the truth when it matters most.' Something like that.

Wait, that was a bad idea.

I look for an iron war hammer. All altars should have one. I bet that this one is no exception.

I grab my torch, lunge at Shoruke, and attempt to use the torch's already sharp and pointy bottom end to make a small (Nonlethal) sacrifice of blood; that is, a sacrifice of Shoruke's blood (preferably in the bowl, but I'm not picky)

Clearly this is an altar to Armok!

I start waving my paperclip around the air, training with a imaginary target.

Yes... I intend to train myself in the art of slaying my enemies with a paperclip!

Since it seems a small portion of my blood is being offered to some deity (preferably Armok himself), I will request divine assistance of the altar's deity, namely to teach me fire magic.

Just waiting on Errol and FoboslC.

Don't get too comfortable people. This is fun, actually. Totally worth starting. Also, this round was pretty interesting
