You have ended up in a dungeon. You were dared to explore it alone and to break up the monotony of life in a pseudo-medieval fantasy village you did. About this time, several other people decided to explore the dungeon on a dare as well. Coincidence, huh? It might have been. It certainly doesn’t affect the game in any way nor has any relevance. Moving on….

Moving into the dungeon, you all bump into each other. After the screaming subsides (you guys all scream like little girls. Pansies) you introduce yourselves. A creaking is heard and you all fall silent and look around nervously. The doorways from which you entered this dungeon are closing! You race towards the wall with the others but the door clicks into place, leaving not even a crack in wall. The only thing not closed is the large entrance, leading further into the dungeon. Seems like the only way is forward. Okay, whatever. Let’s do this thing!

Right, this is my first RTD. Before you join, I'm not an experienced GM or anything but I'll try to make this as fun as possible. Or painful, depending on how I'm feeling. There are eleven slots

THERE IS NO MORE SLOTS. THERE IS NO MORE WAITING LIST. SORRY.

You each start with

Inventory:

Clothing
an unlit torch
6 matches
Backpack

This is not a crazy RTD. You can't eat the wall or set things on fire right off the bat. Try to keep it reasonable, but you can also learn spells and stuff. What fun would it be otherwise? I'll probably need help from experienced GMs when we get further into the game, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Any takers?

In. I think I've got a pretty good grasp what NOT to do as a GM.

Action - Frantically search for better clothes.

I want in. Are we able to spontaneously learn magic via dice roll, or do we need to find items to help learn it?

Edit - Action: I try to learn illusion magic by creating an illusionary black cat. In the darkness, yes. I'm good at illusion magic.

I love the smell of a new RTD in the morning.  Smells like epic failure.

I'm in.

As to an action, though the door!

Count me in!

(as to the GMing thing, I'm new myself but I've found using a word processor - in my case notepad++ - can help quite a bit also.)
