The first two I caught happened to be a male and a female, I find the idea of starting an elephant farm unbearably cute and amusing.

An old 2d fort called Boatmurdered is well known for having been plagued by constant gory attacks by elephants. It's become a sort of running joke that elephants are extremely dangerous.

In reality, they're currently about as dangerous as baby macaques. They usually don't even fight back if you attack them.

The myth is mostly upheld by people who haven't had fortresses with elephants, and by people that want to believe it so badly that they keep acting like it's true.

Don't worry about it. Elephants are like big cows.

So I'll be eating baby elephants. I have no problem with this. Or hey, I can just trade them off to the elves. And then kill the elves, and take back the elephants, and eat them. Or just eat the elves. Can I eat the elves? Well. I'd like to, but I don't think I can.

Maybe I should just set everything on fire. ... elephants!
