That may just have been the best satirical retort ever.

I want some of whatever that blog writer's been smoking.  At no point has Obama ever said that this proposed "civilian national security force" has to be "as well-armed as the Army".  That's utter idiocy.

Giving kids a break on college tuition in exchange for spending a summer handing out blankets and soup to homeless people, or cleaning up litter on city streets?  I personally don't see the link between that and the Hitler Youth.  But, then, that article links to WorldNetDaily as a reputable source, so I shouldn't be surprised.  Maybe the Hitler Obama Youth can hand out tinfoil hats for people like this along with blankets and soup.

No one ever said it was supposed to be as well-armed.  Obama said it was to be just as strong and well-funded as the army.

The idiot blog writer linked to in the OP said that the CNSF was going to be as well-armed as the Army.  That's what I was referring to.  I don't know whether he made that up or got it off WND next to an article about the Reptilians (who are actually pretty cool dudes and not as bad as WND makes them out to be), but it's lunacy.

As strong (in terms of manpower) and as well-funded?  The first is doable, the second is a pipe dream.  I'm totally cool with the idea of a CNSF.  We NEED to increase the security of our borders.  All the uninspected cargo containers that come into our country every day, I'm totally cool with college kids being given Geiger counters and being assigned to check them out to prevent some Tom Clancy scenario of terrorists sneaking a dirty bomb into the US, or MS13 from bringing in gangsters or whatever.  That sounds like a GOOD use of funds.  The military needs to be kicking the Taliban's ass in Afghanistan, not filling sandbags in Fargo or building levees in New Orleans.

Again, Obama's own words (as a senator), he wants to make "volunteering" MANDATORY.........

I made a comparison of the hitler youth to the idea of young americans being forced to serve the goverment that Obama suggests.  Never called Obama "Hitler".

The Iranians did something similar with their youth, but it wasnt all the youth, just the "retards" and "handicapped" and "undesirables".  Forced them into service during the Iran/Iraq war as mine field clearers.  Literally lined them up and walked them across the field to die in glorious service to Allah (according to the guys running the program, not the Koran, I think it would be hard to justify that with the Koran) and to and the state. The current Iranian president helped run that organization while serving in the immortals.  BUT,  I dont think that is relevant actually, so, NM.

Indonesian Was Minister, question, reply in PM if you wish, are you a follower of Islam, or maybe Ba'hai?  I have a tendency to agree with the Ba'hai general concept personally, but from a Christian background.

OK guys, cya :)

Three seconds of searching brings up the law / bill in question.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Apparently, Obama moonlights as one Senator McCarthy (and I also suspect him of being every other Democrat ever in the history of existence, that sly dog YES I'M ON TO YOU ANDREW JACKSON IF THAT IS YOUR REAL NAME WHICH IT ISN'T OBAMA).

From what else I can find, people are taking this Act and combining it with a speech he made at the University of Colorado where he said he wanted to ""set a goal for all American middle and high school students to perform 50 hours of service a year, and for all college students to perform 100 hours of service a year." to mean OMG FORCED VOLUNTEERISM which is about a big a reach from all this to Hilter Youth, which plenty of other people are also making.

GHETTO LIBERAL AGENDA EDIT: While I'm at it, here are some choice replies to the aforeposted (look Ma, I done did invented me a word) that I'm sure at least some of you are going to dance around posting yourselves.

Thanks to Steve for understanding the impact of this bill. No child will be exempt, not even kids whose parents bear the financial burder to send them to parochial schools so they can have a better education.

The bill provides for teacher, supervisor and “personnel” from “community-based” agencies to “recruite, utilize and manage” the participants. In plain English, this simply means that those “community-based” agencies are ACORN, LaRaza, LULAC and others, who will be in the schools indoctrinating our children while they are getting paid to do the indoctrination. Project Vote, will be able to recruite kids from “elementary and secondary” schools to get out the vote (there is no law that says kids can’t recruite voters).

The agency that will be in control of this program, under the Secretary of Education (remember who he is, friends, another Chicago insider that worked with the Ayers/Obama Annenburg scam) is called “the Corporation.”

And if you think you can undo the damage done to your child during the school year, don’t kid yourself. The bill provides for summer “camps” and uniforms.

And the best part? You get to pay for it. The program, implimented and enforced by “the Corporation” will require a 20% contribution from the school district the first year, 50% each year after.

The entire bill reads like something from Antonio Gramsci, the early 20th century communist who advised that if children are not taught the ways of Marxism by age 12, they will be lost to the movement. Both Stalin, and Hitler, were fans of Gramsci.

Please, read the bill. And understand the catch phrases:

service-learning = forced volunteerism
the Corporation = the federal government
qualified organizations (and individuals) who have experience in service-learning = every radical left wing group you can possibly think of.

And remember this; when this was done in Nazi Germany, children were taught to even report to the SS their parents who spoke out against the Nazi goverment.

Wardmama, the original bill is H.R. 1388.

Rusty, it’s not you Obama’s coming after, it’s our children and grandchildren. Kids are not armed and can be taught that everything their parents believe is wrong.

Quote
“Requires states to develop comprehensive plans for volunteer and paid service by Baby Boomers and older adults.”

Oh really?

Well, they can KISS MY ASS!

I’ve got a “comprehensive” plan already…it’s called “armed and angry”.

This is absolutely crazy. I asked my husband if any of the obamatons came by and he said no but he was sitting there cleaning his gun all day waiting for them on Saturday.

And in reply to that:

Close to what I’m going to do. Attempt to waste as much of their time as possible in discussions of logic about how O.B.A.M.A. is going to succeed in dragging us all into full socialism, and then a small turn into the logical step, and their grand scheme, a communist haven. Then, when there seems to be no possible hope of finding one ounce of logic or common sense inside the obamabot’s head, reach around behind the door and pull out my trusty AK and tell them to get off my property as you are now threatening my well being.

OH LAWDY

For the record, it was our own National Guard sandbaggin in Fargo, and it is kinda their job. I like the idea of expanded guard like institutions.
