I have no choice but to admit my doings. I did follow Sir Sytherion into the forest to eavesdrop on him and see if he was the good knight he claimed to be, and I found him performing an arcane ritual! Knowing him to be a warlock, I fired upon him, wounding him with my crossbow bolt.

I have another confession. I am but a squire in knight's armor; I have no title. I ask that whatever watchful knights would examine this case; examine Sytherion so that you may see his guilt. My impersonation of a knight will obfuscate my innocence. That is why I was reluctant to come forth initially.

Only the Divine Scrying of a Paladin could have seen my crafty flanking maneuver, so great was my stealth! Then, you claim you are but a Squire?
