The goode knights didst talk amongst themselves, yet no conclusion didst they reach. Eventually they didst decide to go forth without slaying one of their number.
The good knights didst travel down river till they didst finally reach a town with many sturdy stone bridges. Indeed, many many bridges, for 'twas the city of Stonebridge. The knights rode through the city, whenst they didst come upon a scene of a most confusing nature.
A cluster of humble folk werest clustered 'pon a town square. The city watch didst stand round them, preventing them from getting out, or from the angry crowds from getting in. The knights didst ride forth, clearing a path through the awed peasants to the cowering group.
"What hath these men done, that they should be imprisoned by raging crowds?" Sir frey didst ask.
"Why, goode knight, amongst these men are the agents of the vicious dragon that doest bethreat this lande. 'till they are dedde our towne is at risk"
"Then surely thou shouldst kill them?"
"Were it so simple, goode knight, for amongst them are those who are innocent. Of these 9 but 3 are dragon-spawne. We do notte know whom to kill and whom to let live!"
"Then it is surely our duty to help thee, and what with us being on an queste to slay the same dragon as those agents are spawne of (I suspect), we should learn somewhat of them to aid our queste"
