Only for a short time, but of course GD is not /VN/ so people will react diffrently to it.

I would simply like to state that I rather enjoyed reading and occasionally posting in " - ". I wached it start, and have followed it till now. Sure it was stupid, and spammy, and random. But it was fun. Harmless fun.

However, I have to agree that the sheer volume of new threads in VN was a bad sign.

But to be perfectly honest, I will miss the random chatter. This is the only forum I'm on.

I think a nice, stickied, random chatter thread in GD would be a suitable replacement for that kind of thing. I can understand why it would be nice to have, I'd just prefer to keep it to a single thread, personally.

What does everyone else think?

I don't see how you can whine so vociferously about VN ruining things and then advocate a spam topic in GD.

Because I don't think a whole forum exclusively for spam and garbage is a good idea, but a single topic would be relatively harmless. I've also advocated moving the VN Political stuff over to Forum Games as well, as it's close enough to roleplaying.
