To be honest, VN was a great place, its where all the greats were spawned. But with the fissioning of it into sub forums it has become... a bit stupid as of late.

It's like pretzel salt.  When you have salt on pretzels, it improves them, but if you remove the pretzel and just leave lots and lots of concentrated salt, it's enough to make you throw up.
