The traditional parties no longer suit my needs, so, just to see what my friends say, I'm going to become(ostensibly) a fascist.

If by 'change' you mean 'saying no to EVERYTHING' then yes conservatives support change.

way to avoid intelligent discourse and quote the DNC propaganda machine.

America wants change for BS politics of the past, like cronyism, pork barrel projects, useless congressional bill riders, compromise of important issues to meaninglessness, congressional lies (tax evasion, manslaughter (yeah you, TED), two face turnarounds in the truth (yeah, you Barney) ) etc.  Not change from democracy/freedom/capitalism to communism/state property/socialism.

So, I say NO to the current ideas set forth for "change", cuz it aint the change I am interested in.  Which is why I didnt vote fot him.

Sir, I have volunteered you for a sex change operation.

I'm not really going to be a fascist, I just want to see what my friends will think when they see that on my Facebook.

There was a political debate at my school.  About 200 students and teachers showed up to watch.  3 parties represented: democrats, republicans, and libertarians.
Begining:
Republicans: mild applause, a couple of jeers
Libertarians: just louder then an awkward silence, similar feeling
Democrats: Wild applause and cheering from the crowd

Middle
Republicans: Did they really just say that?!  Gay marriage is not the same as marrying an animal...
Libertarians: Cheers for putting the conservatives in their place on the War in Iraq, but an awkward silence for saying maybe not everyone should go to college.
Democrats: What are these people on? why aren't they doing a good job!

end
Republicans: Met low expectations
Democrats: Won the pity vote, but embarrassed anyone who knew what was going on.
Libertarians: How did they win?

I just don't think we should be a Conservative nation after watching Xenophobic News. Opps, I mean Fox News.

I consider myself a conservative, but I'm dissociated from 90% of the so-called "conservatives" in this country.  I consider Fox News to be mostly ignorant propaganda, and I'm horrified at what the neocons and theocons did to my country for the past eight years.  I'm a conservative, but I voted for Obama because I was horrified that McCain used Karl Rove and picked Sarah Palin.

Most "conservatives" think Reagan belongs on Mount Rushmore.  I jokingly think he was the antiChrist.  Melding the Republican party to the hypocrites in the Moral Majority was the worst thing that ever happened to conservatism.

Conservatives need to put down the organized religion and the dehumanization of anybody who doesn't agree with them.  We need to disown hypocrites like Limbaugh and Hannity and we need to lynch Ann Coulter on live TV.  We need open dialogue, not calling anybody to the left of us "socialists".  We need to be the party of Bill Buckley, not Bill O'Reilly.  Otherwise the liberals are going to keep winning elections until the GOP is dead and in its grave.

Holy crap. I agreed with everything you said in character. The Republican party needs to pick up common sense, instead of accusing everyone of supporting Satan and communism.

Everybody wants change. Generally, those who want to take things back to an imaginary past where things used to be good and people knew their place and morals were intact, can be classed as conservative...those who want to move things forward to an imaginary future where things will be happy and everyone gets along and has everything they need are liberal.

Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

Somewhere close to the "state of nature," I'd imagine.

Interestingly, Armok's name actually originates from arm_ok, a variable in one of Toady's earlier games that kept track of how many of your arms weren't missing.
