Is all good.  I'm trying to come up with some real slang stuff, but drawing a blank.

But yeah, we need some moar Indiana Jones style up in this.  That would be just the style, baby.

the wall spikes r a good idea have a pressure plate acctivated wall spike that can impale an enemy that steps on it and when the pressure is off the plate the arrows withdraw back into a wall. the crossbow trap is a simplified version of it. u could use iron spear or arrows. or u step on a pressure plate and crossbows open fire on both side continuesly releasing arrows till it is out.
